Griellea Online Grief Support Groups
Some losses are meant to be understood in the presence of others who are carrying something similar.
There is a particular kind of recognition that happens when someone else gives words to something you have felt for a long time.
What a grief support group is
A Griellea grief support group is a small online gathering of people who have experienced a similar kind of loss. Every person's loss is unique, and each group brings together people whose circumstances share something in common so that what you bring is met by others who understand it from the inside.
Each session opens with a grief topic, with time for reflection, sharing, and questions afterward. Sessions run for 60 minutes, once a week, for six weeks.
Groups are kept intentionally small, no more than eight participants, so that every person has space to be present, and to be heard. Enrollment closes when the group begins, with the same people meeting from the first session to the last. That consistency is intentional. It is what allows the group to become something meaningful, a shared space with its own quiet understanding.
How it works
Griellea forms groups around different experiences of loss at various times throughout the year. Meetings are held online through an encrypted video platform, and groups are for adults living in the United States.
By staying connected with Griellea, you will receive an invitation when a new group is forming, along with information about upcoming workshops, educational programs, and grief resources. When a new group is announced, you can decide if it feels right for you.

Alternative support options
If you would prefer not to wait for a group to form, individual grief sessions are also available, and you are warmly invited to explore them on the Sessions page.
If someone in your life is grieving and you think this might be right for them, you are welcome to share this page with them directly, or on social media as an invitation to learn more.
